Born in Palma de Mallorca, he conducted his pre-university studies in Madrid and Irvine (California)  He graduated from the prestigious School of Veterinary Medicine, University Complutense of Madrid.

During his college years he was deeply involved in veterinary research and as a student intern in the department of anatomy and veterinary embryology, consolidated his knowledge in developing anatomical studies of congenital malformations.

As a result of his excellent academic achievements, he was selected to perform two one year internships, in the Department of Neurology and Surgery Small Animal Hospital and the Equine Veterinary Madrid at UCM.
He also was awarded the opportunity of effecting two years work experience in one of the most prestigious surgical centers in the country, in Madrid.
Additionally, he obtained an extra-academic level as an active member of IVSA (International Veterinary Students' Association). and Grefa (Group of native wildlife rehabilitation.  During the final year he was able to consolidate his knowledge and improve his linguistic German, by being selected to enjoy a one-year scholarship at the School of Veterinary Medicine, Justus Liebig University in Giessen (Germany).

After a few years working in referral centres in Majorca, performing emergency service duties and internal medicine at a hospital which receives complicated cases from other clinics, he decided to return to college to qualify as a Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology for Small Animals at the University Complutense of Madrid.

He is a member of AVEPA (Association of Small Animal Veterinary Specialists). and working groups Gevo (Veterinary Specialist Group in Trauma and Orthopaedics), and GEVE (Specialist Group Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care), of the same association.  Their dedication and scientific interest have led him to participate in, until 2012, about 50 continuing education courses and AVEPA conferences the Southern European Veterinary Conference, earning diplomas in various specialties, among which are: Emergency, Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound , Cardio-respiratory Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, cytological interpretation, Ophthalmology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Microsurgery, Endocrinology and Management of veterinary centers among others.
He holds the title of Director of Radiology Facilities.

He has participated as a guest speaker at the First Congress of Allied Veterinary Sciences and for his presentation of 2 medical cases, won a prize in the contest for best scientific picture of the journal Veterinary Outreach Consultation.  He enjoys his free time with his family and friends, travelling and experiencing outdoor activities. 
His linguistic abilities permit him to answer queries in Castilian, English, German and Catalan.
